Memo Company Brings Jewellery home shopping back to life.

Debora LaBudde, CEO & Founder of MEMO was a successful executive in a finance world when she realized that her passion was aligned with jewellers and everything about connecting with them in a joyful, playful satisfying way. The very feeling she had when finding new treasures and designers to how they made her feel when wearing them was enough to leave the running of venture capital fund to create her own business around what made her life feel rich and fulfilling that is how MEMO was born.

Debora LaBudde had vision of experience with jewellery in a unique way that creates special connections with the item’s stones or the design without being rushed by the salesperson or security person at the store to make a decision about purchase that can become her signature piece for may years.

Not only the choice of stone needed to be felt but the shape and colours created a unique experience. That is exactly what she wants for her client to have available to them when shopping at MEMO.

Debora believes that every detail of the jewellery should feel just right for her client. Starting from feeling empowered to feeling beautiful.

Now in the privacy of your home, you can choose the next signature piece of your collection for every occasion that may arise at any time. After all, buying and regretting it later can be the think of the past thanks to

Galia Lahav brings beauty and grace into the world of fashion.

ETWho was the person that you made your first wedding gown for?

GL-One of the first wedding gowns I designed almost 30 years ago belonged to a client, who wanted a gown that was advanced for its time. She wanted a sheer illusion gown covered entirely with Swarovski crystals.
Today it might not sound rare or different, but at that time it was very bold, sexy, and unique. I will never forget that gown.

ETWas it your decision to create a family business, or was it your son who offered to help, and he organically became part of the business?

GL-I started my business when my youngest son Idan was born. Back then, I didn’t plan or know it would grow to be as big and successful as it is today. It’s not something you can anticipate. My children were very young when I started so it didn’t even occur to me it will one day become a family business. I was simply following my personal dream.
But as the years went by and the business started growing, we had more and more opportunities coming our way. At one point I think both of my children, Osnat and Idan, realized they could see themselves fitting into my business due to the everyday challenges and adventures we experience. Both of them get to work on the things that interest them the most in the business, whether it’s the Marketing, Sales, and Business development for Idan or the Design, Manufacturing, and Production process for Osnat  At the end of the day, they both feel challenged and work in a place that allows them to live to their full potential.

ETWhat is your source of inspiration?

GL-I get inspired by women. I think women are God’s greatest creation. There’s nothing we can’t do. We are mothers, wives, girlfriends, business owners, artists, scientists, and so much more.
We do it all with so much grace and elegance. The women I meet every day are my motivating force. They are what I see in mind when I create, and from them, I draw my inspiration.

ET-What part of the day is your most creative time?

GL-I’m lucky enough to be working in an environment that keeps me creative all day long. It’s not just one part of the day. Sometimes we’ll get a new fabric that will spark something for me. Another time, we’ll get in a new request for a custom piece for a VIP or a celebrity client. The way I see it, if you’re a creative person, it’s just something you have in you, and it’s triggered by different outside forces.

ETYour international locations – the flagship stores. How were they chosen and why?

GL-Choosing a location for a flagship is, above all, a business decision. You want to make sure there’s a market where you open, whether because there is already a demand for your product or because you want to penetrate a certain market in which you identify potential. In our case, we started getting more and more requests and inquiries from brides worldwide. Being located in Israel, technology, and social media has made it possible to interact easily with brides that live abroad. We started realizing people want to try on our products. They are interested in what we have to offer. We quickly recognized our strongest areas and, based on that, decided where we wanted to open. Today it’s not just about having a presence where we are most wanted but also about pushing boundaries and staying ahead of the market. For example, we only recently opened our 1st Flagship in Shanghai being the first Israeli Bridal Brand to have opened a Flagship store in Shanghai. We also just opened our newest flagship in Miami, which is predicted to become one of the largest fashion capitals within the next few years.

ET-What is your routine to rejuvenate and rest?

GL-I love to travel and try to do it as often as I can. I’m very busy but whenever I travel for work, I will try to squeeze in a few extra days too. I always get inspired by different cultures and I enjoy exploring new places.

ET-What are your favourite foods?

GL-I love eating fish. Cooked or raw, I don’t really mind.

Ava Du Vernay

ET-Do you have a favourite time of the year?

GL-I love Spring. when everything blooms and the weather is just perfect. I always feel more relaxed and calm during this time of the year.

Ivanka Trump

ET-If you could do anything differently, knowing what you know now, what would it be?

GL-I would tell my younger self to trust my instinct more. It’s so easy to get distracted and carried away by what other people think and say. Although it’s important to listen at the end of the day, you need to trust yourself and remember that it is your instincts that got you to where you are today.

Ashley Simpson

ETAny advice to other creative designers that are just starting out?

GL-I would advise younger designers who are just starting out to really try and find what makes them special. There are many talented designers out there, but people don’t just buy products. They buy a story and an experience. You need to know who you are and what your strengths are in order to tell it in the most magnificent way possible. Don’t just trust your talent, you also need to know your unique selling point and how to present it to the world.

IRS To Audit More High-Wealth Taxpayers & Offer Settlements for Conservation Easements

What is happening with the American way of life while we are watching politics and nature do the opposite. One is thriving the other starving

Reports show that the IRS is launching an audit campaign that will focus on hundreds of returns filed by high-wealth taxpayers. In addition, the agency also announced this week that it was making a settlement offer to taxpayers who may have invested in syndicated conservation easements.

Jennifer Benda is a partner/shareholder at the national law firm Hall Estill in its tax practice and a former certified public accountant who specializes in helping high wealth individuals navigate the ever changing tax laws. She discusses the two recent announcements and advice she has for individuals in this category.

Audits of Wealth Individuals

“IRS has been working for years on better audit techniques, including audits of high net worth individuals and their various entities.   IRS audit methods are now more targeted and generally issue based, meaning, they know of a deduction or structure they don’t like and they take a singular position and audit thousands of taxpayers who they believe took that deduction or implemented the disfavored structure,” Benda says.

“Last week an IRS official stated that when the IRS gets back to work on July 15, they will be sending audit notices to groups of high net worth individuals.  It is thought that is in response to a TIGTA report which concluded that the IRS was not appropriately auditing high-income nonfilers,” Benda says.

“Any high net worth individual with any aggressive tax planning in place for 2016 for later years should consult an independent advisor to assess their risk and any proactive actions they can take to minimize risk and exposure,” Benda says.

Settlement for Syndicated Conservation Easement Transactions

“Yesterday the IRS announced that it was making a settlement offer to taxpayers who may have invested in syndicated conservation easements, one of the IRS’s “Dirty Dozen tax scams,” Benda says.

“Syndicated conservation easements are ones where a partnership investment results in a charitable deduction that is more than 250% of the cash investment.  Generally, an inflated valuation of the easement’s value is what is used to generate the deduction,” Benda says.

“In Colorado, for example, due to state law limitations on state credits for conservation easements, these structures are rare, but were rampant 10 years ago.  However, these structures have flourished in the south, leading to a string of recent U.S. Tax Court cases which the IRS has won,” Benda says.

“Taxpayers receiving an offer of settlement related to a conservation easement charitable deduction should consult and independent tax advisor to determine the best course,” Benda says.

The truth about our feet is that when we do not wear shoes they get wider because they can. Given we have been at home for many month not wearing pretty shoes and chances are our feet became wider than before stay at home order.

Many states now and countries are opening up and returning to activities outside of our homes and families, so the shoe need to fit the feet. Here is the way to adopt what you already have to be comfortable wearing with expanded size of your feet without braking the bank or living with pain at the end of the day.

Formé is the first and only shoe shaper that safely stretches shoes up to a half a size, eliminating the pain that occurs when the toe box gets tight as the day wears on – awesome for women with different sized feet! Formé is made by women FOR WOMEN and can make every pair of shoes in your closet more comfortable and your feet healthier and happier! You can customize the amount of stretch and they work in any shoes (heels, flats, boots, sandals, sneakers) of any material (leather, fabric, even synthetic). Or use this sleek, lightweight device simply to help shoes keep their shape when you’re not wearing them.  Formé shapers give new life to shoes 1) you love but don’t wear because they never fit quite right, 2) become uncomfortable after just a short time on the feet. Maureen Stockton, founder of Formé, the first women’s shoe shaper and stretcher, is a Los Angeles native and UCLA graduate with a successful 25+-year track record as an entrepreneur. Her passion for entrepreneurship and invention were sparked during her college years at UCLA, where she founded the Undergraduate Entrepreneurs Association, and was recognized by the university’s economics department as “Leader of the Year.” Following her graduation with a dual degree in Business Administration and Political Science, she began her corporate career in commercial real estate, directing marketing and leasing for several premier office buildings in Chicago and Los Angeles.

Stockton continued honing her marketing skills at JAKKS Pacific Inc., the publicly traded toy company. There she created $250MM+ in new revenue through innovative products and new retail merchandising techniques. Subsequently, she created and launched a new category of children’s holiday decorating products under the Disney Princess and Barbie brands. Collectively, these products generated $20MM+ in retail sales, and earned her “Vendor of the Year” recognition from Toys “R” Us.

In 2018, after three years of research and development, Stockton
launched the Formé shoe shaper, a consumer product she
conceived to address women’s desire for enhanced shoe comfort
and improved shoe wardrobe maintenance. An epiphany led to the
process: Stockton was dressing for an evening business event and
noticed to her dismay that the “power pumps” she had chosen to
wear were intolerably tight around the toes. In that moment she glanced over at her husband while he removed old-fashioned wooden shoe trees from his shoes asking why he used them. He replied, “my shoes are always comfortable when I slip them on.” She wanted the same for herself, so she ordered some in an attempt to stretch her own shoes, but the device – designed for the heartier leathers used in men’s footwear – had too much force and ruined her shoes. She realized that women needed a shoe shaper of their own. Today, her unique and patented design gives new life to uncomfortable shoes long relegated to the back of the closet, offering customizable stretching options. It also keeps shoes in perfect shape, not only prolonging wear but also increasing resale value.

Beyond her commercial ventures, Stockton also lends her talent and inspiration to several philanthropic causes, serving on the boards of several charities including, St. Anne’s, an LA- based organization that helps vulnerable children and women rebuild their lives. She is also a member of the UCLA Foundation Board, Member of the UCLA Chancellor’s Oversight Committee for UCLA Technology Development, the Getty Museum’s Conservation Institute Council, and Wake Forest University’s Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneur Board of Advisors. Stockton was previously on the boards of the Otis College of Art and Design and the Toy Industry Association.

Stockton and her husband Bryan have four children and reside in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles.

How you arm your skin to resilience from invaders

iBio life

We need to support our body natural desire to survive by adaptation just as the virus is mutating to survive.

This means we recognize that we are one of biological being among many others and connected to the source by our DNA code share by the plants, animals and people.

Living in harmony with our biological clock supports our body organs to keep us resilient. This matter as part of adaptation to survive and be ahead of the virus or bacteria that develops in the weakest organ of the body. The book titled Be Fabulous at Any Age has detail organ function with symptoms helping to determine if organ need help or not. The book teaches body language vocalized through emotions or pain or skin conditions. Skin is our body’s message board. That is why I focused on the sign that perfect health shows on perfect skin.

The current virus has mutated now genome 1 and 8 expanding its development in weakest organ and waiting outside of the body for new host up to three days from the initial 15 min. The virus wants to live by adapting to current conditions and so should we.

A fastest and most effective way to achieve resilience is not to interfere with nature and its cycles, adding support to what already is taking place. That is what I call being and living iBio way.

A good example is morning hours of 6-11 am are reserved by the body to detox what is accumulated from the bodywork of repair and replacement of cells. Dead cells and unused fats, proteins, gases and any synthetic chemicals including heavy metals are being pushed out through the elimination process of intestine, kidneys, lungs, skin and liver. This is the time not to disrupt the process by eating but rather support it by having liquids that aid the elimination process such as warm water with or without lemon drops, coffee, tea. But no solids as they will stop everything to digest new inputted food. Imagine bringing new food into the refrigerator that you never cleaned! I hope you get the picture.

Now let’s talk about simple ways to know what is going on in your throat simply by gargling with warm water sea salt solution. If discomfort goes away, you have a concern it was coronavirus if it persists you have seasonal sore throat only.

Everyone as a weak point even this virus. It dies in the heat and moist environment. Best it to take hot showers and breathe deeply the steam from it twice a day. If you have Replete Rejuvenating Mist at home take it without everywhere you go and inhale the mist by spraying through your face after leaving the space to infuse the breath ways with seawater particles densified to match minerals of amniotic fluid that we were created in. This way you know you are giving your body what it needs to repair and defend your life with resilience.

When we are balanced, we are resilient to other bad behaviours by observing them not reacting to them and keeping our immune system strong to deal with microbes, viruses and bacteria.

Emotional stress leads to many physical conditions that doctors gave them titles or chronic disease for having room to treat the symptoms and not the cause. A nice way to save a face but and a help to us to rid of the problem.

We only have few ways that our perfect born body brakes down from.

One the obvious are accidents with physical trauma.

Two what and when we eat.

Three what we inhale.

Four what encounters our skin.

Five emotions we experience from thoughts.

That is what we need to manage into harmony by iBio way of life.

The Fabulous at Any Age is present inside and outside visible to the world.

Now that we are in the world crisis, we have the opportunity to change our habits with the support of time on our side and family to watch over each other.

The invisible world of iBio organisms has made itself very present to call for a respect of nature and its powerful connection with us. While we look the other way, it shows up as organized and resilient until we learn its weak points in the way they learned of us to survive in our modern environment and unbalanced body.

Resilience shows in the way you feel about a person having it all going in the right direction and having the tools and awareness to make the right decisions.

Bruce Lipton, Abraham Hicks, Joe Dispenza, Donna Eden

This natural science gurus are addressing the invisible works of the world in constant expansion of time and space for your awareness and spiritual enlightenment.

When you cannot go to the sea bring the sea to you

We are living now in unprecedented times when going to the beach is not just about having vacation days or money that is holding us back.

Many plans are broken and so could be our spirit.

But, it does not have to be if you know about Replete Rejuvenating Mist from 3000 feet depth and 2000 year old ocean water layer from the coast of Hawaii. This is the only Mist that will not only replenish the mineral you get from swimming in the ocean, but will lift your spirit of the soul to go on in a positive way. It gives the glow you get from vacation just as you spray and inhale the ocean air from it. What a wonderful way to stay positive and feel the freedom of the soul in yourself.

All this matter even more during limited exposure to fresh air and sunlight which are our source of life. We are iBio organism connected to all that exists and being separated from it is not natural nor beneficial to our health and state of mind. I will tell you more what it means in few words. The Moon and Sun cycles govern our body all functions from activities to sleep to commerce to relationships. Imagine trying to have a relationship with person that is a night owl and you are a morning riser? Not much time together at all would be left to share life together. You drink your coffee upon rising not before bedtime. Same logical events take place in our body without us even knowing and when we disrupt them by accident or force bad things happen, we get weaker and tired and cranky or sick.

This gives validity to following our biological clock to stay healthy wealthy and happy in every way!

Here are some tips you will benefit from.

Upon rising Spray and inhale Rejuvenating Mist from Replete. It will start your day without silver cloud over your head and with one less cup of coffee giving your body more alkaline environment.

With a positive mood and outlook on life, your options for decisions will look and be different. If needed Use the Rejuvenating Mist again in the afternoon if you feel slow and need some perk into your day.

Replete means abundance and so it is an abundance of minerals in every product you get from it. This layer of the ocean water is densified 10X to match the content of minerals in the amniotic fluid to provide your skin with all that it may need to stay resilient and glow with smooth alluring skin.

This is where you can find all the best from the ocean vacation without living your home

Honey for deep sleep repairs

One of the most important and yet sometimes not know ways to get a good night sleep in addition to the afternoon sun rays is a teaspoon of honey before turning off the light when going to sleep.

This is a great way to fall asleep fast without taking any pills. Honey has been used to heal wounds that just would not close on people and animals.

Marine Mammal centre is one of the places that value honey as a go-to after all else fails to heal injuries that sea creatures have after rescuing them from the sea or the beaches.

Cleopatra used honey to heal her scratches from walking on the ground.

Bears are using honey as the source to survive long winters and so do the bees and wolfs.

Now Replete offers travel size iBio Seasonal Honey that can go with you anywhere you are and give you a beauty night sleep according to the season.

There are choices of flavor such as roses, lavender or rosemary from private garden of Replete founder. What a beautiful way to share the harvest with each other during this isolating times of Covid-19.
