Thailand – Thailand is about to make electronic music history. After years of speculation, whispers and global anticipation, it is finally official. Tomorrowland, the world’s most iconic and celebrated electronic music festival, is expanding its universe to Southeast Asia for the very first time. In December 2026, the legendary Belgian-born festival will debut Tomorrowland Thailand, marking a massive new chapter for both the brand and the global EDM community.
Set to take place from December 11th through the 13th, Tomorrowland Thailand will unfold at Wisdom Valley in Chonburi, a stunning location, about 2 hours east of Bangkok that has now been officially confirmed. For dance music lovers across Asia and beyond, this announcement is nothing short of monumental. Tomorrowland is not just a festival. It is a cultural phenomenon, and its arrival in Thailand signals a powerful shift in the global festival landscape.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand, working alongside the Thai government as official partners, framed the announcement as a milestone moment for the country’s creative and tourism ambitions. In an official statement, TAT emphasized that hosting Tomorrowland represents a major step toward positioning Thailand as a global destination for world class entertainment, culture and immersive experiences.

Beyond the music, the festival aims to introduce international visitors to the country’s beauty, warmth and legendary hospitality. The scale of Tomorrowland Thailand will be nothing short of impressive. The festival will span a massive 237-acre site and feature multiple stages, each expected to carry the signature Tomorrowland fantasy aesthetic that has made the brand famous worldwide. Organizers anticipate welcoming approximately 50,000 festivalgoers across the three-day weekend, drawing fans from every corner of the globe.
While the Thailand edition will not offer on-site camping, attendees will have access to nearby hotel accommodations and organized shuttle transportation, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for both international travelers and local fans. Ticket sales are scheduled to open at the end of February, with more details to be revealed in the coming months.
This announcement marks the first time Tomorrowland has publicly confirmed full details of its Thailand debut. Although early discussions surfaced in national Thai media as far back as March 2024, the festival’s organizers remained careful and measured before making anything official. Those early reports sparked months of speculation and media
back and forth, with Tomorrowland clarifying its position while Thai officials openly expressed enthusiasm following meetings with Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and Tomorrowland’s WeAreOne.World CEO, Bruno Vanwelsenaers.
Now that the vision is locked in, both sides are clearly aligned. Vanwelsenaers shared that Thailand felt like a natural and inspired choice, not only because of its breathtaking landscapes and vibrant energy, but also because of the shared commitment to creating something meaningful, ambitious and truly world class. He confirmed that the core Belgian team will collaborate closely with a dedicated local team of around 40 professionals in Thailand to bring the festival to life.
The global response to the announcement was immediate. Social media lit up as fans across continents began planning trips, sharing excitement and imagining what Tomorrowland’s legendary storytelling, stage design and soundscapes will look like against a Thai backdrop. For many, the pairing feels almost destined. Thailand’s spiritual beauty, cultural richness and electric nightlife energy align perfectly with Tomorrowland’s dreamlike universe and larger than life productions.
While the lineup has yet to be announced, expectations are understandably sky high. Tomorrowland has built its reputation on delivering elite, genre defining talent year after year, and there is little doubt that the Thailand edition will continue that tradition. With its signature blend of global EDM superstars, cutting edge production and immersive fantasy themes, Tomorrowland Thailand is shaping up to be an experience unlike anything the region has seen before.
In addition to the Thailand announcement, Tomorrowland has also confirmed dates for its flagship Belgium festival in 2026, set to return for two weekends in July from the 17th through the 19th and again from the 24th through the 26th. Alongside Belgium and Thailand, the Tomorrowland brand continues to expand its presence through curated events and experiences around the world.

As 2026 approaches, one thing is clear. Tomorrowland’s story is far from finished. With its first step into Thailand, the festival is not just crossing borders, it is opening a new global era. And for fans who believe in unity through music, fantasy and connection, December 2026 cannot come soon enough.
