Empire Polo Club in Indio USA
Written by Sason Bishope Parry
California’s iconic country music gathering, Stagecoach, is officially set to return in April 2026, and the newly announced lineup proves the festival continues to push boundaries while honoring its roots. Once again taking over the legendary Empire Polo Club in Indio, Stagecoach 2026 promises three unforgettable days of music, culture, and community, led by an impressive roster of world-renowned headliners.
At the top of the bill are Texas country powerhouse Cody Johnson, Louisiana native and breakout superstar Lainey Wilson, and genre-defying California artist Post Malone, whose presence continues Stagecoach’s tradition of welcoming artists who transcend traditional country lines. Together, they anchor a lineup that blends modern country, classic legends, and bold cross-genre moments.
The depth of the 2026 lineup is just as exciting. Fan favorites and chart-toppers including Bailey Zimmerman, The Red Clay Strays, Riley Green, Journey, Brooks and Dunn, and Hootie and The Blowfish add serious star power, ensuring that every day offers both nostalgia and fresh discovery. In total, 72 artists have been announced so far, spanning styles from traditional country and Southern rock to experimental sounds and unexpected collaborations.

For Cody Johnson, this year marks his fourth appearance at Stagecoach, a testament to his deep connection with the festival and its audience. Following the lineup announcement, the Til You Can’t singer shared his excitement online, writing, “STAGECOACH! Honored to be your Friday night headliner.” It is a moment that feels earned and symbolic of his continued rise within the country music world.
One of Stagecoach’s defining features returns once again in 2026 with the wildly popular Late Night on the Mustang Stage. Known for delivering unforgettable, genre-blending performances, this stage will host none other than Diplo, Ludacris, and the ever-energetic Pitbull, also known as Mr. Worldwide and Mr. 305. These late-night sets have become a festival highlight, transforming Stagecoach into a space where country meets dance, hip hop, and global pop energy under the desert sky.
Produced by Goldenvoice, Stagecoach remains the country counterpart to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, sharing both the iconic venue and the month-long takeover of Indio, California. In 2026, Coachella will run across the weekends of April 10 through 12 and April 17 through 19, with Stagecoach closing out the month from April 24 through April 26.
Set against the sweeping desert landscape of the Empire Polo Club, Stagecoach continues to stand out as more than just a festival. It is a celebration of storytelling, tradition, evolution, and the powerful connection between artists and fans. With a lineup this diverse and ambitious, Stagecoach 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting editions yet.

Passes are on sale now, and available directly through the official Stagecoach website. If history is any indication, tickets will mostly likely sell-out. For country fans and music lovers alike, Stagecoach 2026 is already calling.
