Get ready to dance, as Portola Music Festival is back for its fourth year, and it’s levelling up in every way possible. What began as a bold new entry in the dance and electronic scene has quickly become one of the most anticipated music events on the West Coast. Portola 2025 might be its most electrifying chapter yet for the Bay Area.
Headlining this two-day audio adventure at Pier 80 are legends and icons across generations: LCD Soundsystem, The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, and Underworld will ignite nostalgia and euphoria in equal measure. And as if that weren’t enough to shake the Bay, Moby is set to perform his seminal album PLAY in its entirety, a rare, must-see moment for longtime fans and newcomers alike. Rounding out the top-tier bill are Dom Dolla, Peggy Gou, and special guest the incredible Christina Aguilera, ready to remind everyone of her vocal dominance.
Set for Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21, Portola, brought to you by Goldenvoice (yes, the minds behind Coachella) and local taste-makers Non Plus Ultra, isn’t just a festival; it’s a full-on immersion into the weird, wonderful, and wild heart of electronic music. This year brings something even more legendary: DESPACIO, the iconic, high-fidelity sound temple created by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and the Dewaele brothers of 2manydjs. Making its San Francisco debut, DESPACIO promises a deep, physical listening experience like no other. Think of it as an audiophile’s dream club with a mind-expanding soul.
Ticket pre-sales go live on Wednesday, May 14, at 12 PM, with prices starting at $399.95 for 2-Day GA, $649.95 for VIP, and $1,599.95 for VIP XL. One-day passes will also be available.
