San Francisco is getting ready once again for one of the most anticipated music events of the summer. Outside Lands returns to the iconic setting of Golden Gate Park for three unforgettable days of music, culture, food, and celebration from August 7 through August 9, 2026.
Festival founders Another Planet Entertainment and Superfly have officially unveiled the massive lineup for the festival’s 18th year, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting editions yet. Known for blending world-class music with the unique spirit of San Francisco, Outside Lands continues to push the boundaries of what a modern music festival can be.
The 2026 lineup delivers an incredible mix of genres, highlighting some of the biggest names in music today while also shining a spotlight on emerging artists across rock, electronic, hip-hop, indie, and beyond. Headlining this year’s festival is the long-awaited Outside Lands debut of Charli XCX, alongside powerhouse performances from RÜFÜS DU SOL, The Strokes, The xx, Baby Keem, Turnstile, GRiZTRONICS (Subtronics + GRiZ), DJO, Labrinth, Empire of the Sun, and Dijon.
As always, Outside Lands thrives on musical discovery, and the 2026 lineup is packed with standout artists ready to light up the park. Fans can look forward to performances from Disco Lines, GloRilla, Ethel Cain, Geese, Mariah the Scientist, Modest Mouse, Malcolm Todd, Audrey Hobert, The Temper Trap, KWN, DJ Trixie Mattel, Laszewo, Durand Bernarr, Kingfishr, Sultan + Shepard, Frost Children, Haute & Freddy, Goldie Boutilier, Death Cab for Cutie, Not For Radio, Clipse, Lucy Dacus, Wet Leg, Sierra Ferrell, Snow Strippers, It’s Murph, Tinashe, Jade, Die Spitz, and many more artists spanning the ever-expanding musical landscape.
Electronic music fans will once again have a dedicated home at SOMA, the festival’s open-air house and techno stage that has become a favorite destination for late-day dancing in the park. The 2026 SOMA lineup features an impressive roster including Boys Noize, Lane 8, HYPERBEAM, Boris Brejcha, Carlita, Miss Monique, Ben Böhmer, ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, KI/KI, and more artists bringing cutting-edge underground sounds to Golden Gate Park.

Beyond the music, Outside Lands continues to stand apart with its immersive festival experience. Returning for its 8th year, Grass Lands once again highlights the innovation and culture surrounding cannabis, a space the festival pioneered when it first introduced the concept in 2018. The curated area celebrates the evolving industry through education, products, and community.
Food lovers will also find themselves in paradise as Taste of the Bay Area returns, showcasing an incredible selection of cuisines from some of Northern California’s most celebrated restaurants and culinary creators. Festivalgoers can also explore the beloved Wine Lands, Beer Lands, and Cocktail Magic, where guests can sample craft beverages from top wineries, breweries, and mixologists. Additional curated programming will once again take place at fan-favorite specialty stages including Dolores’ and Duboce Triangle, adding even more unique performances, experiences, and surprises throughout the weekend.
Outside Lands co-founder Allen Scott shared his excitement about the festival’s milestone year in a press statement: “Every year, we strive to deliver a lineup that excites and surprises, letting fans see their favorites while discovering new music. The experience at Outside Lands is just as much about unexpected moments and fresh discoveries as it is about our incredible headliners. For our 18th anniversary, we can’t wait to celebrate the power and impact of music across genres in our one-of-a-kind setting of Golden Gate Park.”
With world-class music, incredible food and drink, art installations, immersive experiences, and the vibrant energy of San Francisco surrounding it all, Outside Lands continues to define the modern festival experience.
