New Orleans – The legendary New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has officially dropped its 2026 lineup, and once again, it proves why Jazz Fest remains one of the most iconic and culturally rich music gatherings on the planet. Now entering its 54th year, the beloved multi-weekend, multi-genre celebration will take over the Fair Grounds Racecourse from April 23 through May 3, delivering ten unforgettable days of music, culture, and soul.
As expected, the 2026 edition is stacked with world-class headliners and genre-spanning icons. Leading the charge are timeless legends and global superstars including Eagles, Stevie Nicks, Rod Stewart and Kings of Leon, artists whose catalogs alone could soundtrack entire generations. True to Jazz Fest tradition, the lineup effortlessly bridges eras, styles, and sounds, honoring the past while celebrating the present.
Beyond the marquee names, this year’s bill dives deep into artistic diversity. Fans can expect unforgettable performances from visionary artists like David Byrne, country powerhouse Lainey Wilson, and New Orleans’ own cultural force, T-Pain, whose genre-bending influence continues to defy expectations. The lineup also features a powerful mix of contemporary voices and living legends, including Lorde, Teddy Swims, Jon Batiste, Tyler Childers, Nas, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Black Keys, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Alabama Shakes, St. Vincent, Herbie Hancock, Ziggy Marley, and Lake Street Dive.
Jazz, funk, soul, roots, and heritage remain at the heart of the festival, with New Orleans royalty and global ambassadors lighting up the stages. Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Big Freedia, The Soul Rebels, Mavis Staples, Rhiannon Giddens, Ani DiFranco, Stephen Marley, Alejandro Escovedo, Steve Earle, and many more ensure the spirit of New Orleans stays front and center throughout the run.
Produced by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, the festival continues its mission to promote, preserve, and celebrate the music, culture, and heritage of Louisiana communities. Since 2006, Shell USA has served as the festival’s presenting sponsor, a partnership that will continue through 2030.
