Miami is officially gearing up for another massive motorsport moment. South Florida Motorsports, the organizers behind the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX, have confirmed a stacked schedule of on track action for the 2026 race weekend, and fans can expect nonstop energy from start to finish.
Set for May 1 through May 3, the 2026 edition of the Miami Grand Prix will once again bring the thrill of Formula 1 racing to the 3.36-mile Miami International Autodrome in Miami Gardens. For the third year in a row, the hugely popular F1 Sprint format returns, making Miami the only race in the United States to host an F1 Sprint next season. Alongside Formula 1, the weekend will also feature the return of Porsche Carrera Cup North America and the highly anticipated Formula 1 debut of McLaren Trophy America, delivering three full days packed with elite racing.

The race weekend format stays fan favorite approved. Friday will feature Sprint Qualifying, Saturday brings the F1 Sprint race, and Sunday delivers the main event with the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Miami’s Sprint races have already become must watch moments on the calendar, especially following the record-breaking Sprint event earlier this year. That Saturday race shattered viewership records for Formula 1 since the Sprint format launched in 2021 and made history with 18-year-old Kimi Antonelli claiming P1 on the starting grid, becoming the youngest pole sitter in Formula 1 history.
“We’re proud that Miami has become one of the premier race weekends on the Formula 1 calendar and we plan to raise the bar once again in 2026,” said Katharina Nowak, President of the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX. “The return of the Sprint race gives fans world-class racing every single day, and we’re complementing that with exciting support action in McLaren Trophy America and Porsche Carrera Cup North America. We’re committed to providing an experience where fans can feel the energy of Miami while enjoying a full slate of the world’s best motorsport action.”

Adding to the excitement, McLaren Trophy America will make its Formula 1 weekend debut in Miami. Now entering just its second full season, the one make championship showcases the striking 585PS twin turbo McLaren Artura Trophy car. Fans will see two intense 40-minute races plus one lap, bringing even more competition to an already action packed schedule. Porsche Carrera Cup North America also returns for the third consecutive year, this time featuring the newly announced Porsche 911 Cup car type 992.2, promising faster lap times and fiercely competitive racing throughout the weekend.
One of Miami’s most fan friendly elements continues to shine. The campus will once again be open and interactive, allowing fans to get closer to the action than ever before. Motorsports Alley presented by Ticketmaster gives spectators access to both the McLaren and Porsche support paddocks throughout the weekend, creating a rare opportunity to experience the atmosphere behind the scenes.
Tickets are now available across a wide range of options, including flexible 1 Day Grandstand tickets. American Express Card Members can access Amex Presale Tickets for 1 Day options starting October 29 at noon Eastern Time through November 3 at noon Eastern Time while supplies last. First introduced in 2025, the 1 Day Grandstand ticket option gives fans the freedom to customize their race weekend experience by choosing the days that work best for them.

New for 2026, Grandstand Plus presented by Heineken takes the experience even further. This upgraded option extends access to Thursday and includes entry to the Opening Night Kick Off Party. Fans enrolled in Grandstand Plus also receive access to Stadium Club, complimentary offsite parking with shuttle service, and two Heineken beers per day for guests 21 and over. To unlock these benefits, fans must purchase a 3 Day Grandstand ticket and enroll in auto renewal after checkout.
The popular Grandstand Pass also returns, giving spectators the chance to watch the action from different viewing locations each day of the weekend. No matter the ticket type, all fans will enjoy Miami’s signature mix of world class food, beverage offerings, entertainment, and interactive activations across the campus.
The FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX remains the only Formula 1 event where fans can see directly into the F1 Team Village. From the 300 level of Hard Rock Stadium, spectators are treated to an unmatched view into the heart of the paddock, offering a perspective unlike anywhere else on the global calendar.

Now heading into its fifth year, the race around Hard Rock Stadium continues to raise the bar. With a full slate of racing, premium hospitality, and festival style entertainment woven into every corner of the experience, Miami has firmly cemented itself as one of the most electric and talked about stops in Formula 1. If the past is any indication, 2026 is shaping up to be faster, louder, and more unforgettable than ever.
