Marc Allsion Jeans: The Only Women’s Premium Denim To Hold It’S Shape For 7 Days!

Revolutionary Fabric Emphasizes Comfort and Fit with New Colors featuring Four-Way Stretch Denim

Los Angeles, Calif. (July, 29 2014) – With an eye toward the future of premium denim, textile industry veteran, Marc Flashberg today introduced a revolution in denim. By blending high technology and high fashion, Flashberg desgined such an advanced fiber, that it gave the jean an unprecedented 4-way stretch termed “X-Fit.” When infused with Supima cotton, X-Fit makes for a stunningly flattering fit, extraordinary movement and comfort with great recovery. The best part being that Marc Allison Jeans hold their shape for 7 days without washing!

Charcoal, Army and Copper, the new Mid-Rise Slim Boot washes, will be joining the other popular washes of Night Blue, Dark Indigo, Olive, Brown, White and Black. Marc Allison’s line includes five extremely comfortable styles and a variety of authentic aged, clean and worn-in washes. Marc Allison jeans are currently available in select online at marcallisonjeans.com and at-home denim trunk shows.

“We designed our collection around this unique fabric we helped create and bring to life through the introduction of our jeans,” said Marc Flashberg, co-founder and principal of Marc Allison jeans. “It’s been a while since something really new and exciting has happened in premium denim – and after three years in development, we are thrilled to be the brand with the next generation in denim.”

A 30-year veteran in the textile business, Flashberg developed a driving passion for premium denim at the onset of the denim explosion. After spending years introducing innovative products to top premium denim labels, it became clear to Flashberg that there was a void in the market. Until now, the belief was that fit and comfort was achieved primarily through the pattern. Flashberg realized that the pattern alone cannot offer fit and comfort. He concluded that fit and comfort can only truly be achieved through the fabric, which then complements the pattern.

“It can’t be just a beautiful looking fabric — the fabric needs to be able to move with the body, retain its shape and look good,” said Flashberg.

Pulling from his early textile experience in knits, five years ago Flashberg came up with the revolutionary idea of creating a four-way stretch denim to provide the ultimate in fit and comfort for denim aficionados. Through further exploration of the concept, the mill Marc represented learned that Invista, a global integrated producer of polymers and fibers, had already begun research on the creation of a yarn that would allow denim to stretch in the length as well as the width. Working together with Invista, the XFIT was born and the first generation of fabric that offers fit, comfort and recovery was introduced to the market. Flashberg’s Marc Allison Jeans fabric has been further enhanced with Supima cotton, which “brings the package of fit and comfort to a whole new level.”
